Terms of use
Thride is a logbook and work insights app for adult independent drivers and riders. These pages explain the app licence, subscriptions and how to contact us.
Provider and app licence
Thride is provided by Thride Ltd, 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom. Contact luke@thride.app for help. Thride is intended for people aged 18 and over.
Your licence to use the iOS app is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), with Thride Ltd as the application provider. Read the agreement using the link below. This page supplies Thride-specific service and subscription information; it does not replace or vary the Standard EULA.
What Thride does
Thride helps you record shifts, mileage, earnings, expenses, fuel costs and goals, and understand your work through calculations and insights. Availability of tracking features depends on your device, permissions and settings.
Figures and journey detection can be incomplete or inaccurate because of missing entries, GPS conditions, interrupted tracking or assumptions in calculations. Review your records and correct errors before relying on them. Thride does not provide tax, accounting, financial or legal advice, determine which expenses are deductible, or guarantee any earnings or tax outcome. Keep any receipts and records required by the rules that apply to your work.
Only use Thride when it is safe and lawful. Do not interact with the app while driving or riding in a way that distracts you or breaches local law.
Monthly and annual subscriptions
Full access requires an active auto-renewable subscription. Thride Monthly provides one month of access per billing period; Thride Annual provides one year. Both plans provide the same level of access. The price and billing period for your App Store region are displayed in the app and in Apple’s purchase confirmation before you subscribe. Annual subscriptions are billed as the full annual amount, not as monthly instalments.
Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before renewal. Apple handles billing, any applicable taxes, and price-change notices or consent under its terms and applicable law. Do not rely on a price shown on this website instead of the current purchase details.
Existing records remain available in read-only mode when access expires. Creating or editing records and other paid features require an active subscription. Cancelling renewal normally leaves access available until the end of the paid period; refunds, revocations and any rights under local law may affect that period.
Manage, restore or cancel
On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Thride to manage your plan or cancel. Deleting Thride does not cancel your subscription. Use Restore purchases in Thride while signed into the Apple Account used for the purchase to recover eligible subscription access. Restore purchases restores subscription access; restoring work records is separate. If your records previously synced to iCloud, enable iCloud in Thride using the same Apple Account to download the records still held there.
For a billing problem or refund request, use Apple’s support and refund process. Refund eligibility is determined under Apple’s applicable terms and your legal rights. Nothing on this page excludes mandatory refund or other consumer rights.
Your records and privacy
Thride stores records locally and offers optional syncing through Apple’s private iCloud storage. Syncing includes ended shifts (including shifts awaiting details), eligible completed trips and their routes, income, expenses, receipts, fuel logs, vehicles, platforms, categories, goals, and settings including your home address. Completed trips sync whether they are awaiting review, linked to an ended shift, or marked as non-work. Trips linked only to an active shift stay on the device until that shift ends. Active shifts and in-progress tracking remain on the device. Trip review decisions sync across devices. Thride Ltd does not operate a separate backup server for your records.
Syncing depends on your iCloud account, available storage and connectivity. Edits and deletions sync across enabled devices, and Thride does not keep older versions as backups. Keep suitable device backups and independent copies of important records. Records that have not synced may be lost if you remove the app or lose the device.
Turning off iCloud stops syncing on that device without deleting local or cloud records. Deleting the app removes local data but leaves the cloud collection, so previously synced records can return after reinstalling and enabling iCloud with the same Apple Account. Delete data from iCloud removes the synced collection and pauses syncing while retaining local records. Enabling iCloud again can upload retained records.
Our privacy policy explains these storage and deletion choices, Apple services, website hosting and support correspondence. You do not need a separate Thride account.
Changes and your rights
Features and supported operating systems may change as Thride develops. We will respect access already purchased for the applicable subscription period and any mandatory rights. Material changes will be communicated where required.
The Standard EULA governs licence restrictions, warranties, liability and dispute provisions. Nothing on this page excludes or restricts rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted in your country. Contact luke@thride.app if something goes wrong so we can help.
